Natt til mandag var det tid for filmverdenens største begivenhet, Oscar 2025. I år dominerte Anora med hele fem priser av seks nominasjoner. Oscar-favoritter som The Brutalist, Conclave, Wicked og Emilia Pérez tok også hjem noen priser.
Den norsk-palestinske dokumentarfilmen No Other Land vant i sin kategori. En storslagen oppnåelse for Basel Adra, Hamdan Ballal, Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor. Til den dag i dag har filmen ennå ikke fått en amerikansk distributør til tross for prisene den har fått.
